Irieveda Spice Blends of West Chester, PA invests in Energy Efficiency

Irieveda, a West Chester, PA based, minority and woman owned specialty spice company invests in energy efficiency upgrades at their production facility with help from Emergent Energy Solutions and PECO's Small Business Program. The Act 129 utility program provided much of the needed funding to support the upgrade at the facility. Emergent energy provided the materials, engineering and the installation labor to complete the upgrades.
Their specialty spices manufacturing facility invested in energy efficiency upgrades that included new high efficiency HVAC, occupancy based thermostats and LED lighting systems throughout their production facility. With Irieveda's focus on a high quality product to their customers, their facility would also follow suit by being a low carbon facility.
Through these upgrades, Irieveda will look forward to reducing their energy consumption and associated expenses by over 50%. With the help of support funding from PECO's Small Business Energy Efficiency program, their payback period is less than 1 year for their upgrades.
Irieveda looks to continue to grow at this location while continuing to serve their growing customer base.
