Emergent Metering offers the full NextCentury product line for property owners and managers seeking automated water consumption tracking and tenant billing.
The system centers on NextCentury's polymer water meters available in cold and hot water configurations, including California-approved models meeting state regulatory requirements. Each meter can be equipped with a TR-4 or TR4-X wireless transceiver that transmits consumption data to a NextCentury Gateway, which aggregates readings from up to hundreds of meters and forwards the data to cloud-based billing platforms.
The Gateway Lite serves smaller properties (up to 50 meters), while the full Gateway handles larger installations. Repeaters extend wireless range in buildings with challenging RF environments — thick concrete walls, metal construction, or long distances between meters and gateways. The Remote Meter Display allows tenants to view their consumption without accessing the meter room, promoting conservation awareness. The complete system eliminates manual meter reading, reduces billing errors, and provides daily consumption data for leak detection and usage analysis.
