Milesight

Milesight manufactures industrial-grade LoRaWAN gateways and IoT sensors for large-scale wireless data collection. Emergent Metering deploys Milesight LoRaWAN infrastructure for campus-wide and multi-building metering applications where traditional wired communication is impractical.

The UG56 indoor gateway and UG65 outdoor gateway provide reliable LoRaWAN connectivity for hundreds of end devices over distances up to several kilometers. Both gateways support the 915MHz US frequency band and include integrated 4G LTE backhaul for sites without LAN infrastructure. The UG65's IP65 weatherproof enclosure makes it ideal for outdoor mounting on building rooftops or utility poles.

The EM300-DI LoRaWAN pulse counter connects any pulse-output meter — water, gas, electric, or steam — to the LoRaWAN network, enabling wireless data collection from legacy meters without replacing the meter itself. This is particularly valuable for multi-site portfolios where standardizing on a single wireless infrastructure simplifies deployment and reduces ongoing connectivity costs. All Milesight devices integrate with standard LoRaWAN network servers and can forward data to energy management platforms via MQTT, HTTP, or direct database integration.
